Adventure Safari has now evolved to provide the biggest movie tour experience in New Zealands movie capital. We now take passengers to more 'Rings filming locations than any other operator and include plenty of behind-the-scenes stories, special fx explanations and information on past, present and future filming projects.

WELLINGTON MOVIE TOUR
An afternoons tour of Wellington City concentrating on the local movie industry but with many scenic views included.
Highlights include:.
- Sites where up to 10 Lord of the Rings scenes were shot (including the first days filming in the Hobbiton Woods)
- Audiovisual displays as you travel
- Props for photos of famous 'Rings scenes
- Information on other movies with local input including Tintin, The Hobbit, Avatar, The Lovely Bones, The Dambusters etc ....
- Find where the local movie production studios are hiding
- Experience the WETA CAVE at special fx company Weta Workshop

VALLEY MOVIE TOUR
4 1/2 hours of sightseeing north of Wellington City to experience the region with many local movie filming sites included.
Highlights include:
- Sites where up to 15 Lord of the Rings scenes were filmed
- Bush walk to 'Rivendell'
- Lunch down by the River Anduin (Hutt River)
- Audiovisual displays as you travel
- Props for pictures of famous 'Rings scenes
