Tauranga Tasting Tours specialise in personally customised wine-tasting tours, for small groups (up to 19 people; larger groups can also be catered for, if required). French guided commentry available for tours (if required, on request).

Travel through the scenic countryside from the beautiful harbourside city of Tauranga, viewing ocean vistas, experiencing both boutique and world-class wineries, meeting international award-winning winemakers and distillers, and savouring local flavours. Get a truly personal culinary experience of the coastal Bay of Plenty and Coromandel with the owner/operator, Paul Marston, who has been actively involved in the NZ food and wine industry for over twenty years.

PREMIERE TASTING EXPERIENCE A tour for the connoisseur, tailored to your requirements, encompassing tastings and discussions of venue history and methods with winery/distillery owners/winemakers. The tour visits top wineries, such as the boutique Ohinemuri Winery in the picturesque Karangahake Gorge and the prestigious medal-winning venues Mills Reef Winery ("NZ Winemakers of the Year"), Morton Estate Winery, tasting their premium Black Label range, and Distillerie Deinlein with their unique range of premium fruit liqueurs and brandy varietals (The distillery gained the Silver award at the International Spirit awards, coming 2nd to Cointreau.). The premiere tasting tour highlight is an exclusive experience at Mills Reef Winery, where you will enjoy a specially-prepared presentation of food matched with their premium Elspeth range.

COROMANDEL DISCOVERY TOUR An exclusive 3 day (2 night) tour for those wanting to travel in limited numbers, staying at top accommodation. This tour is ex-Tauranga, although other pick up/delivery points can be arranged. If pick up/delivery is to from Auckland airport, a visit to Villa Maria, NZ's most awarded winery, can be provided. Cost: $1064 per person, includes 2 nights' accommodation and fully-guided touring (Meals, refreshments, alternative pickup/delivery points, Villa Maria costs additional).

STANDARD COROMANDEL TOUR Sightseeing and attractions (Hot Water Beach, Driving Creek Railway, Cathedral Cove) Trip travels via picturesque pohutukawa-lined Coromandel coast & spends the night in historic Coromandel township. Other towns visited include Whitianga, Whangamata, Waihi & Katikati mural-town. Cost: Minimum of 2 people, $340 per person, (Plus meals, accommodation, $20 entrance fee to Driving Creek Railway).
