Skydive Waikato have an experience for everyone, whether you want to learn to Skydive, are an experienced skydiver, or would rather experience the excitement of a Tandem Jump.

Solo Static Line
- this class is fun and consists of 6 hours training, starting at 9.00 am and you will be able to jump the same day. If you are on your own you will soon be great friends with the rest of the class as you all share the adventure together. This course is taught as a mixture of theory and practical sessions. The course culminates in a full dress rehearsal in a training harness simulator in the classroom. Your Instructor will help to guide you in for a safe landing with ground to air radio communication.

Your jumpmaster will then take you to between 3000 and 4000 feet and oversee your jump. Your parachute will open automatically soon after you leave the plane and then you will receive radio guidance as you experience the thrill of steering our state of the art parachutes around the sky as you take in the spectacular views on the way down.

All participants get a Certificate of Achievement presented to them by their jumpmaster after making the jump. The course cost of $295.00 includes your first jump. It is best to wear comfortable clothing and running shoes and be prepared to smile a lot!

Tandem Skydive
- Tandem skydiving is an exiting way to experience your first freefall jump and parachute ride. You are securely fastened to your tandem instructor in a dual harness, and because everything is controlled by your instructor only a 10 minute briefing is required.

The Tandem Master is in control of the skydive at all times and may let you steer the parachute if it is appropriate at the time. The flight takes around 20 minutes, the spectacular scenic views before you leave the plane are all part of this exhilarating experience.

When you are in freefall feel free to yahooo as you reach speeds of 200kph! The parachute ride can be a wild ride with exciting spiral turns or a gentle scenic flight. Whichever you prefer. Freefall is maintained for approximately 35 seconds before the parachute is deployed at 5000ft and approximately five minutes of parachute flight time is achieved.

Your tandem instructor will steer the parachute in for a soft touchdown at the landing area. Prices Vary for the Tandem Skydive according to the height of the jump. Standard 8,000 $245.00, Higher 10,000 $275.00, Highest 12,000 $310.00.

Accelerated Freefall
- Stage One $425.00. Accelerated Freefall is suitable for those who intend doing a course leading to an internationally recognized "A" certificate in a minimum time period. AFF is the most advanced method of training individuals to skydive, your first jump is a freefall from 11,000 feet with two instructors.

Before your first jump you will attend a training class that usually runs for approximately 6 hours, this course will teach you the fundamentals of skydiving. Your jump is made in the company of two Jump Masters who provide direct assistance and enhansed learning during the exit and freefall. You will have the opportunity to deploy your pilot chute which will release your main canopy. Once your parachute is deployed, you will control a solo parachute descent back to the drop zone with some assistance from us via our ground to air communication system.

After your first jump you will more than likely want to participate in advanced training, stages 2 to Stages 4 of the AFF course are priced at $325.00 and stage 5 to 8 are $225.00 respectively. Later stages can be as cheap as $95.
