Tongariro Overnighter - Grade: 3

The Ultimate Tongariro Adventure. With all your expedition gear strapped in the raft, descend down exciting rapids while picking out one of the many sun drenched beaches to camp on. Then sit back and relax and absorb nature while the stresses of life seem simply to disappear. This is a trip not to be missed and comes highly recommended.

Wairoa-Kaituna Extreme - Grade: 5

The ultimate adrenaline fix, you'll be dropping all day, as you take on one waterfall drop after another, the best day of grade 5 rafting anywhere-period!

Tongariro-Upper Gorge - Grade: 3
Adrenaline: moderate
A great chance to sample the steeper cousin of our normal Tongariro white-water trip, Dam released and flowing but twice a year, this trip has heaps of thrills with superb scenery, making it one hot ticket!

Ngaruroro Wilderness Expedition - Grade: 4

During the Month of October spring flows allow us to experience a rare & hidden gem of a river, which begins to speak in way of exceptional whitewater. Travel between towering schist walls, crash through big standing waves, line up vertical drops and soak up the untouched and raw wilderness, that is the Ngaruroro river experience.

This water opens for angling every year on the 1st of December and is only really accessible via the river. This allows anglers to get into untouched water to fish for resident and spawning fish. December and January are popular months with anglers as the upper river holds huge numbers of trout at this time of year due to late spawning fish from Lake Taupo.
You get to choose between one or two days on the river. With the two day trip option we camp out on the banks of the river, under the stars, creating a fantastic wilderness raft fishing expedition.
This is a great activity to do if you are a fly fishing enthusiast wanting peace and solitude and/or if you are looking for an adventure fishing trip, combining an awesome ride down many exciting rapids with beautiful scenery and of course excellent fishing. So grab your best mate, your wife or even the whole family, there is plenty to do for people who don't fish. They can sit back in the sun on the warm sand, enjoy a good book, as well as swim in the refreshing water, before helping to tackle the next rapid to get you to the next hot spot for fishing.
