Description
On Yer Bike provides muddy great fun!
The West Coast may have a reputation for it's high rainfall - (actually it's 2.5 - 3 m of rain every year!), but because of all that water, On yer bike has the most amazing offroad tracks through masses of puddles, mud and thriving rainforest.
On Yer Bike have mud-tastic adventures for everyone, from 1-100yr olds.
Our Motto is “The Wetter The Better!”
On Yer Bike! run tours in brilliant sunshine or torrential rain! It doesn’t matter when you are kitted out in all the wet weather gear we have available. We still operate while other local adventures have been cancelled due to bad weather.
Quad Bikes
On Yer Bikes most popular activity is the automatic or manual Quad Bikes and smaller Quad bikes for 12 yrs +. Tours are from 1-2 hours long and cater for the absolute beginner to experienced rider.
You can cross rivers, through copious amounts of our famous mud and through puddles that resemble small lakes!
Go Karts
You could also try adventures in a two-seater off-road gokart. Alone or with a friend, enjoy the experience in a rugged mud-loving buggy. Karts and bikes can travel together.
Just when you thought On Yer Bike! had done everything we discovered these off-road Go-Karts!
Haggland Adventure
New to On Yer Bike is the Hagglund adventure. The incredible all-terrain ability of these machines will give you an off-road experience through the mud unlike any other.
This is the most extreme way to get off-road on the Wild West Coast. No 4x4 can match us!
The Hagglund is a perfect adventure for families who need to stay clean and dry but would like to try some extreme off-roading. The Hagglund carries 15 passengers of any age.
8WD Argo
An exhilarating adventure in this incredible 8WD 6-seater amphibious Argo.
The 8wd Argo is a true favourite at On Yer Bike. It carries up to 5 passengers and is a little like a rollercoaster without the tracks! It spins and slides and floats!
Tourists are constantly commenting on the natural and beautiful environment of the West Coast of New Zealand where the tracks are situated. Every effort is made to disturb as little of the surrounding natural environment when building new tracks.
Visitors are able to see native birdlife and many species of native plants while out on tours. Tracks wind to the top of terraces where there are lovely views of the valley. A brief commentary of the local history and other fascinating information is offered to those that are interested.
The mud and water is very popular with all the riders, especially the quantity of it!
