The travelling public carry substantial purchasing power and attracting their interest is of real value to the New Zealanders as a whole.Making contact and reaching this market occur before they even leave their home/country, as they frequently search via the internet search engines. Penetration into the marketplace will be better achieved through a combination of publication and internet medium, and development of an online community dedicated to adventure and activities.
19,000 copies will be distributed through i sites, 3,000 to hotels, motels, motor home rental operators, and another 3,000 in response to direct request. The distribution of the Go Country NZ Reference Guide will be supported by a brochure distribution program that will further enhance awareness of the website and publication.
Information no longer travels by publication alone, the internet now serves as an information highway and those who ignore this do so at their peril.
Internet profile is extremely important when performing website development and maintenance. Go Country NZ Limited will be optimising their website on a daily basis to attract as much internet traffic and profile as possible. The Website
Go Country NZ website has been up and running from June 2008. The website is a base which will establish a presence in the marketplace.
The initial presentation of North Island / South Island is set in order to present the substantial number of listings in an orderly fashion for ease of reference for all potential customers.
As the 1,500 businesses identified are contacted, information will be updated and the website will become more colourful and more descriptive.

Go Country NZ Limited is a kiwi owned and operated business run from an office in Waitoki just north of Auckland. Christine Henwood has a 23 year history in service based industries. She has most recently been involved in business management, business mentoring, and accountancy (being a Chartered Accountant). She completed a BB Mgmt and Prf Dip in Accty at Northland Polytechnic and has continued her interest in business by studying in the Master in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship program at Unitec.
Recently joined by Amanda Henwood whose responsibility is to project manage the Go Country NZ website development.
